Welcome to the House of the Open Door Community
What is our purpose?
Our first aim is to live the gospel together, single and married people, young and old, in order to be a sign of hope and to enable others to experience God through Jesus Christ.
What do we do?
At present:
- We run a retreat centre at the Community's home in Childswickham.
- We have a discipleship training course called Crossroads Community(CRC), running on a continuous basis
- We hold prayer and praise meetings on Friday evenings twice a month
- We visit and take services at local prisons
- We hold an annual (FOCUS) summer conference for young people
- We work in schools and churches giving talks, and using music, drama and the potter's wheel to share the gospel
- We hold specialised retreat days, eg Men's days
