22nd September: The Holy Spirit and Atonement

Beth will give a series of talks on the Holy Spirit at HOD on Fridays this Autumn.

  • 15th September: The Holy Spirit and Freedom: “If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed” John 8v.36
  • 22nd September: The Holy Spirit and Atonement
  • 29th September: The Holy Spirit and Empowerment.

The evening will begin with a worship time, followed by Beth’s talk.  All welcome.

Beth has approximately 30 years of experience teaching RE, Scripture and Philosophy in schools, as well as work in parishes and prayer groups in Birmingham.

Her qualifications include a diploma in Pastoral Theology, an MA in Catholic Theology, and she is currently studying scripture at PhD level at Birmingham University
