Quiet Days of Painting and Reflection

Each day will start with a short introduction, followed by a reflection led by Margaret Wade. Then for the rest of the morning you will quietly paint as a response to the reflection. This time is yours alone and, unlike an art class, no-one will be looking over your shoulder to see ‘how you are doing’.

After lunch there will be some time for you to enjoy the gardens, before the day finishes with a closing reflection.

You will need to bring with you your own art materials including

  • 2 x A3 blank Canvas
  • Acrylic Paints – colours of your own choice
  • Brushes
  • Pack of paper plates
  • Sketch Pad
  • Pencils
  • Cleansing Wipes
  • Empty 1 Litre ice-cream tub or equivalent
  • Apron

All are welcome – artists, absolute beginners and the curious!
