“THE COMING KING – MEEKNESS AND MAJESTY”
These two days will be led by Janey Petterson (Ceramicist and Photographer) from the Craft Studio, House of the Open Door Community.
More information about Janey’s work can be seen on her website: www.janeypetterson.co.uk – Images and Pots of Glory
Using air dry clay (not too messy!), we will explore together two of the characteristics of the coming King and Messiah – The vulnerability and meekness of the baby Jesus in the manger, and the power and the majesty of Christ the King.
Come to one or both days…
Whilst it is hoped that most people will be able to attend both days, if you are not able to do so, you are welcome to attend only one.
No artistic ability is necessary but an apron might be helpful!
Please also bring a notebook and pen.
For both days, visitors are asked to arrive at 9.45am, ready to start at 10.00am. The day finishes at 4pm.
Please bring a packed lunch, and drinks will be provided.
Suggested contribution for each day, which includes the cost of materials, is £30 per person.
Overnight accommodation: There is limited self-catering accommodation if you need to stay overnight, with Breakfast provided. Contribution: £35 per person

We are restarting our live Friday Fellowship Meetings, and on Friday November 12 our speaker will be Yoofi Clarke.
Yoofi coordinates Praise Fest, a Catholic Charismatic Renewal prayer group in Milton Keynes, and is a member of the Charis service team (CDSC) for the diocese of Northampton.
Yoofi will be speaking on the theme “Standing your Ground”
Our fellowship meeting will be in the Tithe Barn at HOD for those who live locally.
For the first time we hope to livestream part of the evening on our YouTube channel which is new this year.
Please join us as we seek the Lord together.
See the Calendar of Events for Friday night speakers on other dates.
He served as a member of the Diocesan Service Team for Northampton Diocese for over five years and was recently appointed as the interim Coordinator of the new Charis Diocesan Service Committee.
Yoofi has been involved in Catholic Charismatic Renewal for over 27 years and desires to see unity in the Body of Christ, and for us to live our faith outside the walls of the church building by developing a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit and being attentive to His voice in our daily activities.
All are welcome – artists, absolute beginners and the curious!
